TAM Ratings for Week 27 (1 to 7 July 2012) – Zee TV takes number 2 spot

We are back again to give our readers a quick glance at the TAM ratings for Week 27 2012. Star Plus continues to dominate the GRP charts with a whopping margin with 298 GRP. Coming to the #2 spot, well there is a big change!! Zee TV overtakes Colors with a GRP of 238, while Colors takes the 3rd spot with 225 (last week’s GRP read 233). Sony is placed at #4 with 207 GRP. Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus is the #1 fiction show across all GECs while Balika Vadhu on Colors and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus maintain their second and third positions respectively with numbers of 3.9 and 3.7. Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon which saw a drop in numbers last week is back at the top again and takes the #4 position across GECs with a TVR of 3.4. Zee TV’s Punar Vivah again gets to be the slot leader at 2230 hours and is the #1 fiction show on Zee TV with a rating of 3.0, and holds the #7 position across GECs. Coming to non-fiction, Zee TV rules the non-fiction space with their shows DID L’il Masters being the #1 show with an average of 3.7 TVR and their newly launched paranormal show Fear Files being the second with an average of 3.5 TVR. Zee TV also holds the distinction of being #1 in prime time on Saturday and Sunday with 35 GRPs (21-2330hrs). Coming to other non-fiction shows, Satyameva Jayate on Star Plus gets an average TVR of 2.4 while Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors sees a drop with an average of 1.8 TVR.
