The talented and veteran actor Siraj Mustafa recently visited the Tellychakkar.com office as the Guest Editor and entertained us with some really interesting tidbits on his career and life.
Dressed in a bright red t-shirt and jeans he looked every bit as a hero who thankfully still has the passion of experimenting and working on improving himself more and more.
“What a lovely office, I am already enjoying it,” he said as he settled down.
The actor started his career playing Krishna and has also acted as Ram in one of his shows. Said Siraj: “I enjoy doing grey roles and negative characters now since I have already done the role of the greatest heroes of India at the start of my career. I don’t think there can be bigger heroes on Indian television than Krishna or Ram.”
The actor who was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap (Contiloe Telefilms) said that the industry has grown a lot in terms of technology and content.
“The industry has given me everything and it feels great to see the quality of work that is being provided to the viewers. The audiences are split for choices with so many wonderful shows on all channels.”
Siraj also has a lineup of films- Charlie Ke Chakkar Mein with Naseeruddin Shah, Vikram Bhatt’s 1920-London, Creature with Bipasha Basu and Raj-Shilpa Kundra’s Dhishkiyaon.
“Being a part of films with such talented people is always a great feeling. Working with Naseer saab is every actor’s dream and the other films too will see me playing different avatars.”
He also adds, “I am still open to doing TV, but only if I am given something really interesting.”
Before bidding us farewell, he promised, “I will surely comeback again and bring along my co-stars of my films for another fun-filled day.”
Well Siraj, we really wish you a great future ahead and would love to have you back.
(A complete video on Siraj will be uploaded soon…stay hooked)
