The latest buzz is Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Nata Koi, launched with Kaun Banega Crorepati on October 11 has been put under the scanner by Sony. Says a source, “The show is not able to fetch decent ratings. It just about manages a measly rating of 0.7-0.8. So the channel is thinking of pulling it off air if it continues to fare poorly.” Adds another source, “The channel is not happy with the low ratings. They are of the opinion that the show needs a revamp, as it’s turning into a saas bahu kind of saga, which they are unhappy with and so creative changes are necessary for the show. Though the channel has other things in the pipeline but nothing as of now in fiction can replace the show. So the show has been given a time-period till mid-January to recover.” We tried contacting Prashant Bhatt, Creative Head, to get his side of the story, but all efforts remained futile. Ajay Bhalwankar, Fiction Head for Sony, rubbished the news saying, “Nothing of this sort is decided so it’s better not to speculate anything as of now. If anything, we will let you know about the development.” We are waiting!
