The Great Indian Comedy Show has two new actors joining the ensemble of gagsters on the show -- Rajesh Kumar, better known as Rosesh and Vir Das, who was last seen on Zoom anchoring Ek Rahin Vir. "We are looking at experiments, checking out shorter gags. Rajesh and Vir will be on in two to three weeks," says the show's creative head Sailesh Dave. Rajesh plays Rosesh in the Star One comedy Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Subodh in the Star Plus weekender Ba, Bahu Aur Baby. "It's a challenge to do something different! It's a good show and it will be my way of knowing if I am really good at comedy. But there are some date problems that need to be sorted out!" says Rajesh, who gives himself a modest two as far as his comic abilities are concerned. On the other hand, Vir had been anchoring a show on Zoom, called Ek Rahin Vir, which was unceremoniously pulled off air, after which the standup comedian had disappeared from the scene. This will be his return of sorts to television. Incidentally, he will be the only member of the ensemble who has a past of doing standups. Vir was unavailable for comment.
