Thakur Anoop Singh in an action packed episode of Sony TV's CID

You have seen him perform as Drithtrashtra, now the guy is all set to flex his muscles for a special action packed episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s CID (Fireworks Productions). We are talking about Thakur Anoop Singh, who played the challenging role of the blind father of the Kauravas in Mahabharat. Now the young gun will be seen enacting the character of a criminal ‘Daya’ in CID. Did that ring a bell? Well, the episode will have Anoop as the negative lead Daya and will have a full fledged action packed sequence with the original Daya (Dayanand Shetty)- the cop. The makers have decided to highlight the ‘Daya v/s Daya’ angle in the episode. Anoop’s character will be a tough nut to crack. Apart from a strong body, he will be an intelligent criminal misleading the CID cops throughout in the case. Shared a source, “It will be one of the finest ‘action’ episodes in the series and Anoop has really worked hard on the show. The stunts and actions are something to look forward to.” Talking about his experience, Anoop quipped, “This is the first time I got to play a role of my age and that too of today’s time (laughs). Since I love action it was a treat working for this episode. I hope my fans enjoy watching me in this different avatar. I really had a great time working for it. There will be some bare body sequence in the show as I fight with Daya. We also shot with some special cameras to enhance the effects. There will be lots of twists and some incognito looks that will keep the audience hooked.” The hour long special episode will air this Friday (24 October).
