MUMBAI : Famous television show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma Actor Gurucharan Singh, very well known for his role of Roshan Singh Sodhi, has been missing. The 50 years old man has been gone from his home in Delhi on april22, as he wants to reach the airport for coming to Mumbai,and has not been heard from since that time. His phone is currently unreachable. This is not the first time that an actor of this show has been coming in the limelight of the media. Numbers of actors from these show had already faced a lot of struggle in their past.
Actress Monika Bhadoriya, who is very well known for her role of Bawri in the show, voiced complaints against the makers of the show regarding their bad behaviour. She lefts the show by stating inadequate and mental harassment from the show’s producer Asit Modi.Further she stated that she was tortured to such a level by the makers that she felt like commiting suicide.

Another actor named Shailesh Lodha,playing the role of Taarak Mehta, quit the show in April 2022.The actor has been a part of the show since 2008,but with the time his relationship with Asit Modi soured over time.Shailesh puts an allegations on Asit for inappropriate conduct towards him, citing an incident during a stand-up show titled ‘Good Night India’ in 2022, which disappointed Modi.Shailesh claimed that,his payments were on the held. Consequently, the actor filed a case against Asit for unpaid dues and sought intervention from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) after the show's creators failed to resolve the issue.
Further,Kavi Kumar Azad, popular for his role Doctor Hathi, sadly passed away in July 2018 following a cardiac arrest.Azad played his role and entertained his audience with the show for nine years. Prior to his demise, he was admitted to Wockhardt Hospital in the Mira Road area of Mumbai due to health complications.
Actress Jenifer Mistry Bansiwal very well known for her role as Roshan Singh Sodhi,claimed serious allegations against the show's producer, Asit Modi.Jennifer filed charges against Modi for sexual harassment and asserted that the show's environment fostered male chauvinism, prompting her departure from the series.Following the same she filed a complaint against Asit Modi, the show’s Project Head Sohail Ramani, and executive producer Jatin Bajaj for alleged sexual harassment in the workplace therefore, they were booked under sections 354 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code.
