A page from the personal diary of Vivian Dsena
I vividly remember the day I landed in Mumbai. I came down from Ujjain to this city of dreams to chase my own goals. I was scared and ecstatic at the same time. I was alone and worried as my relatives stayed quite far away from my place of residence. I was staying in a PG with four other struggling models. Those days were tough as they were not supportive and got jealous with my progress and started filling my mind with negative thoughts. I roamed around the city in local trains shuttling from one audition to another. Life was tough and full of difficulties. But I thing success and hurdles go hand in hand. I struggled through every obstacle and bagged my dream role in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. The show definitely gave me recognition and stability but more than that it gave me creative satisfaction. The moment I heard the role I knew it was meant for me.
Now when I look back I realise the importance of facing difficulties to emerge as a successful person. You learn from your failures, wipe out weaknesses and become a winner. I am glad that I had to go through a lot of problems – both professional and emotional – before being loved by the masses.
At the personal level I miss my family a lot. I want to spend more time with them but my profession doesn’t allow that. My mom keeps coming to Mumbai to stay with me but I want to be with them all the time. One thing I have realised that in order to achieve anything one should not give up something but a lot of things in life. But life is a journey and we must keep learning from it. I want to thank all my fans for loving me and I hope that I keep entertaining them in the future as well.
