The heat is on for CINTAA elections on 1 May

It’s that time of the year when industry biggies campaign hard for the CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes Association) elections.

For the first time ever around 70 people are battling for the ballot.

There are four major panels or teams, mainly We The Actors, Team CINTAA 13, Actors’ Progressive Front and Team Sahila.

We The Actors have noted names like Om Puri, Himani Shivpuri, Amit Behl, Sushant Singh among others.

Team CINTAA 13 has Divyanka Tripathi, Aashka Goradia, Dolly Bindra, Jaya Bhattacharya among others.

Actors’ Progressive Front is represented by Vishnu Sharma, Farooque Khan, Annapurna and others.

Finally Team Sahila will have Sahila Chaddha, Aryan Vaid, Anuj Sachdev, Anupam Shyam among others.

Our sources have informed that there's a debate over the use of electronic voting. Thus there are high chances of a traditional ballot box being used for the process, as they have found volunteers to count votes.

Apart from the four major panels, there are few independent candidates as well, the most prominent name being Kunika Sadanand.
