MUMBAI : The most awaited ‘milan’ of Ranveer Singh and Funveer Singh to happen this weekend on Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show
Time and again, Sony Entertainment Television’s The Kapil Sharma Show in-house talent Sidharth Sagar has made us all laugh with his quirky andaz and uncanny mimicry. We all loved him in his electrifying Funveer Singh avatar when he donned the pink suit look and his Simba parody look. This bundle of talent is all set to surprise the audience yet again in the upcoming ‘Cirkus Special’ weekend i.e. 17th December and 18th December at 9:30 pm, which will be graced by Rohit Shetty, Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandes, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, Ashwini Kalsekar, Sulbha Arya, Vrajesh Hirjee, Anil Charanjeet, Vijay Patkar, Siddharth Jadhav and Tiku Talsania who will be seen promoting the upcoming blockbuster film ‘Cirkus’.
And, making this weekend extra special and electrifying will be the most awaited union between the OG Ranveer Singh and his parody, Funveer Singh, played by Sidharth Sagar. Ranveer will be flabbergasted seeing his look-alike with similar energy and the same entertainment tadka. The audience along with the special guests will go gaga seeing the dynamic duo - Ranveer and Funveer share the stage and set it on fire. Funveer will then invite Ranveer to join him on the floor and they both will be seen jamming to ‘Current Laga Re’ leaving shock waves on the stage.
Sharing his experience of portraying Funveer Singh in front of the OG Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Sagar shares, “Ranveer Singh is B-town’s livewire with such infectious energy, lively and colorful personality; he is one of the most amazing actor I have ever met. While it was an honour for me, it was indeed challenging as well to portray Ranveer in front of the power house himself. I’m grateful that I got some time to spend with him and shared a few words which will be cherished forever in my heart. He took the act so sportingly that it boosted my confidence even more.
