MUMBAI: Actor Nishant Malkani, who is better known as AJ from Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, his personal life has never been talked about much. Though professionally Nishant is doing wonders for himself but fans are always curious to know about his personal life.

When TellyChakkar asked Nishant why he likes to keep his personal life under wraps, he replied, “I am a very private person and one wouldn’t find me at any parties or at any functions. I can’t handle too many people in my life hence I have decided to keep hand full of people who are very important to me and I like to hang out with them. People think I am snoopy and snobbish but it’s okay it doesn’t really matter to me. I am very introvert and the only place I am extrovert is on my sets. My co-stars like Kanika and Dalljiet are my very good friends and few more from the industry.”

Do you plan to settle down anytime soon? “Well, there are no plans as such but for some reasons I am getting a feeling that I may settle down soon.”

Never heard about you dating anyone, is it a conscious decision to not talk about your personal life? “Well, I believe the only time I will make an announcement of somebody being in my life when I am very sure that I am settling down with that person. It doesn’t make sense to talk about it when you’re in the testing phase and exploring in the beginning. Also, it is not good for a woman’s respect to talk even before things are confirmed. Women deserve public announcement when things are pretty confirmed.”

When asked if he wishes to have a partner at this point of time, he said, “Who doesn’t want a loving hand to hold and talk about your strengths and weaknesses. But I am yet to find that special person.”

Also, how you react when fans link you Kanika Mann “We get so many emails from fans saying you both look great together and should get married. We have to make them understand that the chemistry we have is only for the show. Off camera we are very good friends. They tend to mix reel and real.”
