MUMBAI: Gurucharan Singh recently bid adieu to his character of Roshan Sodi he had been playing for a long time in SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

He was a fabulous actor and after hunting for the right actor who could step into his shoes and maintain the charm of the character, Laad Singh Maan replaced him. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma continues to make the viewer’s funny bone tickle through the episodes but do you know why Gurucharacn opted out of the show?

Well, sources have it that apparently, Gurucharan opted out of the show because he wanted to focus on farming and NGO service activities for the time being. He has taken a short break and will resume after a sabbatical.

We tried contacting Gurucharan for a comment on the same he did not revert.
