The success of the 13th season of Bigg Boss should go to the contestants and not me: Salman Khan

Salman Khan answers some interesting questions asked by Bigg Boss season 13 winner Sidharth Shukla.

MUMBAI: Television’s most exciting and controversial reality show Bigg Boss will soon return with season 14 on Colors.

Bigg Boss’ almost all the seasons have been a big hit and watched by millions of fans. After all, who does not like listening to freshly baked gossip and witnessing the chaos without actually being a part of it!

However, the thirteenth instalment broke all the records of the previous seasons by becoming the most viewed season of all times.

Today, at the virtual press conference, 13th season winner Sidharth Shukla asked some interesting questions of the Bollywood star and host Salman Khan.

When Sidharth asked if 14th season would manage to surpass the success of the previous season, Salman replied, “Well, the credit behind the success of the 13th season should go to the contestants and not me. You, Asim Riaz, Madhurima Tuli, Vishal Aditya Singh, Shehnaaz Gill and all the other contestants were quite good in the show. Because of you guys the show was such a hit and people showered so much of love. I hope next season is better but it is difficult to compete with you guys but I wish that they do much better than you guys.”

Later, Sidharth asked Salman what did he miss the most during the lockdown, to which he shared, “I did not step out for six months. This is the first day I am shooting. I shot for the promos at my farm."

Salman also mentioned the reason for doing the 14th season of Bigg Boss as a lot of people have died of Covid-19 and hunger. Bigg Boss has a big unit and provides employment to them.

Produced by Endemol Shine India, the show will premiere on 3 October at 9 pm.
