The USP of Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga is the triple characters that I play - Pankit Thakker

Pankit Thakkar
Pankit Thakker who was well appreciated for his mean acting in Balaji Telefilms’ Kabhi Souten Kabhi Saheli on Star Plus has been a part of various shows such as Special Squad, Kumkum, India Calling and Dill Mill Gayye under the Star banner. The charming actor is now making a comeback with BIG MAGIC’s latest offering Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga, a remake of a Pakistani sitcom where he has been roped in to play a triple role as Daku Vikrant, Bablu and Babli. Talking about his role, Pankit quipped saying, “Pakistani sitcoms have a different appeal and are dialogue-driven. I am excited to play one of the main leads. The best part about the characters is that all the three are not so Seedha! People will know more about my characters once the show kicks off.” But what made Pankit stay away from TV for nearly three years? “I have a business which I was focusing on. I received offers but they did not offer me the kind of role I was looking for. I took up this show because this is the first time I am playing a triple role, where in I would be a part of every frame and the best part is that the USP of the show is the triple characters I play. I mean what more could an actor want?,” averred the actor. “I have done comedy earlier as Dr. Atul Joshi in Dill Mill Gayye and I feel very comfortable doing this genre as comedy comes very naturally to me. An added point of doing comedy is that one is not script-bound. I do not want to act in a show just for the heck of it. Moreover, I wanted a role which was meaty, such that it enhanced my profile as an actor. And that is exactly what BIG MAGIC had to offer,” he added. Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga has premiered from 25 November at 9:30 pm on BIG MAGIC. We wish Pankit all the very best for his new project.
