The dapper-looking Karan Tacker, who wooed audiences with his acting skills in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and dancing skills in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, is all set to flaunt his anchoring chops on &TV’s music reality show The Voice India (Endemol). 

In a quick chat with Tellychakkar.com, he spoke about his excitement and more.

When we asked him if he was excited to showcase his anchoring talent, he said, “I am really excited to host this show. But at the same time, I am also nervous as it’s not easy to host a show alone and keep everybody entertained. The Voice India is a challenge for me. It will be much more than an emotional drama.”

You are amazing in daily soaps, what made you take up anchoring? “I have experienced acting, so wanted to do something different. I am always playing somebody else when I am acting, but anchoring is only me,” added the actor.

What’s your take on the judges? Karan said, “I think the coaches are fantastic, super cool and so different from each other. Everyone is vibrant, fresh and energetic on the show. You will see all the four coaches in a different avatar on The Voice India.”

So many Karans are anchoring shows these days, what do you have say about your competition? 

“Whatever I do, matters the most. If I do my job well, then I will be appreciated for it. This is a great platform to showcase my talent and I just wish to become successful like all the coaches on the show,” shared the actor.

Who looks up to you as a hero in your personal life? “My mom’s my hero! She thinks I am the biggest hero of the industry. I love her the most so she is will always be a special person in my life,” he quipped.

While signing off, he sang a couple of lines for us. Well, he could be participating as a contestant next time. You never know!
