There is no space for insecurity between me and Daniel: Sunny Leone

Sunny Leone

Splitsvilla 9 is back and so is Sunny Leone!

The much talked about 'controversy child' Sunny has come a long way from her past days. One of the most loved hosts on TV, this is third time in a row for her in Splitsvilla (and we couldn’t have asked for more).

With the season’s theme being ‘Where Women Rule’, Sunny will be seen as the Queen of Hearts.

Talking about the show, at the launch, the actress said, “Women will rule over the season. And for me ruling means taking tough decision for the betterment of your kingdom. Since this is a bunch of young people, audience will get to see a lot of fights, drama and heart breaks. But the silver lining to them would also be friendship and love. This season we have seen the best of friendships and the brutality of betrayal.

Splitsvilla has always been a controversial show but it became hotter with her coming on-board. When we mentioned that to her she laughed to say, “I do not think so. I think the contestants are really good looking and in great shape. They make the show look sexy.”

With her lauding the appearances of the contestants, we wondered if physical appearance was really important in love. Sunny smiled to say, “I think that is the first thing that attracts you to someone. Personality and character comes later. But yes, if you do not get along with their nature, you wouldn’t find them beautiful anymore.”

With her getting back on Splitsvilla for the third year, we wondered how Splitsvilla has changed her life. “I love Splitsvilla. I have grown up watching MTV and have always considered them as cool. I was jumping with joy when they called me for Splitsvilla. I am really happy with the association and I make sure I hold my days off for this show,” she averred.

The actress has always been vocal about her love for hubby Daniel Weber. When asked by the media if her husband has insecurities of her growing fame. “I think Daniel is one of the strongest men I know, who supports his wife in her career with full heart. I married my best friend who understands my passion towards work and lets me be me. There is no space for insecurities between us. We spend as much time as we can and believe in talking to each other a lot. Also breakfast is very important part of your life where we sit and discuss our day,” she pointed out.

And will we ever see her share screen space with Daniel, we asked. “I would be lucky if he says yes,” she blushed to say.

Talking about family we asked her if she was ready to embrace motherhood. Laughingly she said, “Every time I am asked about it, I am misquoted on the same. But to be honest I haven’t thought about it yet but I would definitely like to see myself as a mother in future.”

Although Sunny has been doing wonderfully well in Bollywood, she is yet to enter the mainstream cinema. When we questioned her on the same she sternly said, “I think I am doing mainstream work only.”

The actress has also seen herself getting involved in a lot of unwanted controversy. Stating her funda to ward them, she quipped, “I just hit the block button. I don’t think I need to react on everything and neither do I.”

That’s smart of you Sunny!!!
