Not only actors who are paired opposite each other, Indian television has witnessed many love stories between actors who played mother-son and brother-sister in shows.
As they say, love can happen in the most unexpected scenarios, so here’s a list of celebrities who dated each other after playing a mother-son or brother-sister duo.
1. Yash Tonk and Gauri Tonk
Yash and Gauri were a part of Star Plus show Kahin Kisi Roz. Yash and Gauri played brother-sister duo namely Kunal and Nisha Sikand in the show. They fell in love and got married. They’re happily married and have two beautiful daughters.
2. Rohan Mehra and Kanchi Singh
Rohan and Kanchi met and fell in love on the sets of Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Rohan played the role of Naksh Singhania, while Kanchi played the character of Gayu.
3. Ankit Gera and Monica Singh
Monica and Ankit were a part of Star Plus’ Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya. Monica played Ankit and Pooja Gor’s (Pratigya) mother. The duo started to hang out and spend more time with each other on the sets. However, the couple called it quits. Ankit is now married.
4. Harshad Arrora and Aparna Kumar
Harshad and Aparna shared screen space in Star Bharat’s Mayavi Maling, and soon, romantic chemistry built up off-screen and they started to date each other.
5. Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai
Kishwer and Suyyash met on the sets of Star One’s Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani, wherein Kishwer played mother of the lead hero Vivian D’sena. The duo got married, and post their marriage, Kishwer entered Suyyash’s show Rishta Likhege Hum Naya as his elder sister.
