THESE actresses' loss was Surbhi Jyoti's gain

MUMBAI : Ekta Kapoor's Naagin series is one of the most successful supernatural franchises of the small screen. The show has taken many TV celebs' careers to a new level, and today, they are quite popular in telly world. 

Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani, Pearl V Puri, Sayantani Ghosh, Nia Sharma, Karishma Tanna, Adaa Khan, and Karanvir Bohra, among others, have been a part of the Naagin series and proved their acting mettle. 

Surbhi Jyoti was seen in Naagin 3 where she played the role of Bela. The actress received several accolades for her performance in the show.

But do you know that before Surbhi, apparently, five popular faces of the small screen were approached for the role?

However, it seems Surbhi was destined to play Naagin Bela, and these actresses' loss became Surbhi's gain. 

1. Akshara Singh

As per reports, Bhojpuri actress Akshara was approached to play Bela's role but she couldn't do it due to her other work commitments.

2. Sanjeeda Sheikh

Popular TV actress Sanjeeda was also offered the role, but due to some personal issues, she apparently couldn't take up the role.

3. Mouni Roy

The actress was a part of seasons one and two, but unfortunately, she couldn't do more due to her busy schedule in Bollywood. 

4. Krystle D'Souza

The Fitrat actress was also approached for the role by Ekta, but things apparently didn't work out for Krystle.

5. Sanaya Irani 

Sanaya too got a chance to be a part of this popular franchise but apparently turned down the offer for reasons best known to her. 

Well, Surbhi who later bagged the role, did total justice to Bela's role.
