MUMBAI: Indian television shows are in the best phase as they are churning out content that matches audience expectations.
From saas-bahu sagas to reality shows, Indian television is evolving even when it comes to presenting supernatural shows with a dash of thrill, which appeal to the urban and rural audience. However, if you are a 90s' or early 2000s' kid, you know that the shows back then were not only bold but progressive and realistic, ahead of their time. Several youth-based shows also made a difference in viewership.
Producers these days seems to recognize this and are striving hard to bring back that era.
One such show was Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. It caught the fancy of people across generations. Sanjivani too made a smashing comeback with a second version and is making up for what it lacked back then. Kasautii Zindagii Kay too made a comeback with a reboot. There is a lot of innovation and experimentation that the makers are attempting by bringing back shows. In fact, it is not only shows; this phase also witnesses the comeback of Bollywood songs that have people grooving.
Taking this into consideration, we list down the top 5 shows that must make a comeback on television!
