MUMBAI: Srishti Jain had to be rushed to a local hospital after being hit in the head by a metal rod from the sets of Hamari Wali Good News. As per her, a technician was removing lights when this happened.
Srishti, who is recuperating at home now, said, "I suffered a bad injury and there is a big bump on my head. When I finished my scene, I was walking away from the area making sure that I am not in the path of the lights and other heavy objects. But, the technician, without informing me, started removing the frames which hold the light above me. While removing the frame, when he untied a metal rod, it hit me badly, and I collapsed. When I woke up, I found myself on a chair. My co-actor and a few others rushed me to the hospital yesterday because I wanted to get a Citi scan done.".
Srishti added, "I was put in an emergency ward as I had to undergo a Citi scan...that was quite scary. Thankfully, the test results did not show any internal injury.".

On the other hand, Srishti believes the technician should have been more cautious. She said, "Had he told me that he was removing the lights, I would have moved away and this would not have happened.".
In the film War Chhod Na Yaar, Srishti played a child actress. In 2016, she made her TV debut as Krishna Mathur in Suhani Si Ek Ladki. After that, she played Durga Chaudhary opposite Paras Kalnawat in Meri Durga. She played Jaya Sharma in Main Mayke Chali Jaungi from 2018 to 2019. She was cast as Mayura in Star Bharat's Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Ravan and then as Yami in an episode of &TV's Laal Ishq, shortly after it ended.
For the unversed, Srishti's notice period on the show is currently in effect. Her papers have already been submitted. Meanwhile, the show will go off-air later this month.
