Karan Singh Chhabra and Neha Singh

Karan Singh Chhabra, the TV anchor and actor who has a lot many modelling assignments to his credit speaks about his experience of being part of the reality show on MTV, Love School with his girl friend Neha Singh.

Karan, known as one of the first turbaned models in the Indian fashion industry has won a Super Model contest in New Delhi. Chhabra has worked for several ace designers such as Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and has walked the runway at Lakme Fashion Week, FDCI Amazon India Couture Week etc.

Currently he is seen hosting a Bollywood talk show called AVS which telecasts on Sony TV and other digital platforms worldwide along with a fiction show on Sab TV and Zee Zindagi.

Talking on their selection in the show, Chhabra said, “During our interaction with Upen and Karishma, they mentioned that intimacy and trust are major pillars in any relationship and since this was missing in ours, they thought they could help us through this show.”

On the issues that hit relationships of today’s youth, he stated, “In general trust is a major issue among couples nowadays. Everyone has access to Facebook and several social networking media....even girls are being vocal...It all contributes to trust issues among today’s generation.”

On his experience of being part of Love School and on the judges Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna, he quipped, “Upen and Karishma were extremely helpful and concerned about each couple. Their chemistry is something to look at; they are equally great off screen too. Love School gave me and Neha a small break from our daily routine. We got to spend quality time together. My intention in taking up this show was to take our relationship to the next level.”

When asked about the reason for them getting eliminated, he averred, “Unlike other shows there was no competition between contestants and our issues were very small as compared to other couples. Our issues got resolved on time and hence there was nothing that Upen and Karishma could help us with further.”

So at the end of it, when asked whether the show did benefit them in improving their relationship, Chhabra said, “To some extent yes, as there were certain tasks which made us test each other and got us closer, hence making the bond stronger.”

Get to enjoy the Love School tips for life, Karan!!
