MUMBAI: While we all have been ogling at actress Gauahar Khan’s wedding pictures with Zaid Darbar, a news came in as a shocker as Gauahar’s father, Zafar Ahmed Khan, who was keeping unwell for some time, has passed away.
It was during the lockdown that he was admitted to the hospital. While Gauahar posted pictures with her father, it is Zaid who took to social media to share a post which read: Please keep my father in law in your Duaa's . Allah give him the best of health . Ameen ! He's the coolest man I know . Alhamdulillah.
The post quite indicated that Gauahar’s father is not in the best of his health.
Later, the actress’ good friend Preeti Simones took to social media to share a post which was heart warming and emotional. It read: mere Gauahar ke pappa...To the man i loved...Lived with pride ... and will be remembered with pride... Strength and Love. To the family."
Gauahar recently took to social media and shared her grief with her followers. She wrote: My Hero . No man like u , Ever ! My father has passed , to the ever after as an Angel . Alhamdulillah. His passing away was a testament to his beautiful life n the best soul he was . Forever My Pappa . I love you oh so much . I am sooooo much of you Pappa . N yet can never ever be even a percent of your magnanimous personality. #MyForeverShiningStar
