MUMBAI : TV Actors Sanjay Gagnani and Poonam Preet tied the knot on 28th November last year in a grand Punjabi wedding. Fans were excited when they heard the news as they were waiting in anticipation for the couple to get wedded. It has been a year since, and the couple is now commemorating their first wedding anniversary with a trip to Phuket.
Speaking about his plans for the special day, Sanjay said, “It's been amazing being married to Poonam and the time has flown by so fast that we didn't even realise that it's been a year already. For our anniversary, I'm taking Poonam to Phuket where we'll celebrate on James Bond and Phi Phi Islands. It's a surprise for her and she is going to absolutely love it. I just hope and pray that we always remain like best friends. I would also like to thank all my viewers and well-wishers for their wishes and prayers.”

The story of how Poonam and Sanjay fell in love is one to hear. For those who don’t know, within the first few months of getting into a relationship with each other, Sanjay spared no time and proposed to Poonam. But the couple decided to spend some more time getting to know each other first before they plan their marriage. The Kundali Bhagya actor, Sanjay Gagnani and Naamkarann actress, Poonam Preet finally made it official on 28th November in 2021. Prior to their marriage, they were in a live-in relationship for almost a decade.
The pictures and videos that were shared from their pre-wedding and wedding ceremonies were loved by fans all over. The duo looked fabulous in their wedding outfits. Sanjay looked handsome in his beige-coloured sherwani suit, while Poonam donned a stunning maroon bridal lehenga choli.
