MUMBAI : Famous TV producer JD Majethia has opened up about a trying period in his life. He was bankrupt and in debt for half a year in 2013. He claimed that even though it was a really difficult time for him, he persisted. Rather, he put forth a lot of effort and gradually got back on his feet. Popular TV series like "Khichdi" and "Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai" are produced by Majethia.
Recalling his struggles, Majethia said, “I had lost all my money in 2013. I was in debt for six months. I had to sell my belongings to pay off my loans. I even had to borrow money from my friends to survive. But I didn't let my struggles break me. I kept working hard and eventually found success again. I was in a very difficult financial situation. But I didn't give up. I kept trying and eventually got back on my feet. I want to inspire others by sharing my story. I want people to know that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope.”
He added, “I am proud of what I have achieved today. But I haven't forgotten my struggles. I know what it's like to have nothing. And that's why I appreciate everything I have today. I am grateful for my struggles, as they have made me stronger and more resilient.”
Majethia claimed that he had to sell his possessions in order to pay off his debts because he was deeply in debt. In order to survive, he even had to borrow money from his pals. But he refused to let his difficulties derail him. He persevered and eventually achieved victory once more.
