MUMBAI: Kanwar Dhillon is back as Sachin Deshmukh in the Star Plus series Udne Ki Aasha, following the success of Pandya Store. In the serial, the actor plays a young man who struggles with alcoholism. His performance has received a great deal of praise. The show is among the top five on the channel and has finished 100 episodes as of right now. For a show that debuted during the Indian Premier League, this is enormous.

Sachin commented on his show completing the feat, “Yes, the show launched a week before IPL, and despite being new, we managed to sustain our ratings throughout. Post-IPL, the ratings have again started to go up, and we haven't left the top five spot. I'm proud of Udne Ki Aasha and our journey. I think IPL was a testing time, and we passed it with flying colours.”
Sachin added, “God willing, it should have a long run, as it has the potential. From day one, I've been confident about Udne Ki Aasha. The continued success is due to our fabulous team, right from the producers like Rahul Tewary, to the channel, writer, production team and cast members.”

He talked about how dedicated everyone was to their work and the play. Kanwar complimented the team's togetherness. He said, "Teamwork makes the dream work, and that's the secret mantra for our success." Producer Rahul Tewary is responsible for many of the most popular mythological television series, including Shani, Mahakali, and Mahabharat. One of his solo endeavors is this show. A South Indian show was remade as Udne Ki Aasha.
