Umang's wickedness to come to the fore in Star Plus’ Saathiya

With the coming on the scene of Gopi’s (Devolena Bhattacharya) sister Radha (Bhavna Purohit) and her goon boy friend Umang (Anas Khan), Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions), the popular show on Star Plus, has been gaining momentum in terms of drama and entertainment. Well, the families at the Modi Bhavan and the chawl have been left shell shocked with the couple getting married. Gopi, who had tried warning Radha in number of instances, will be left fuming seeing her sister getting married to this man. And now in the coming episode, gear up to see the wicked side of Umang who is hell bent to trouble the Modi family having found a soft target in Radha. Talking on the same, Anas says smilingly, “Have you heard the saying ‘aage aage dekho hota hai kya’? Well, with Umang it’s just the same. Having married the girl, now he will be all set to create havoc in their lives.” Anas, who has played sweet characters similar to his physical appearance, adds, “It is difficult playing a negative character for me but as an actor it’s the most satisfying feeling. Versatility is the key to acting and I am really enjoying this new challenge.” Well, let’s wait and watch how this new villain in TV starts his evil journey.
