MUMBAI: Uorfi Javed, known for her controversial remarks, bold outfits and unabashed personality won the first season of The Traitors. Her won was quite interesting however, the actress has been getting backlash for the same. Javed shared a series of messages she received after the finale episode of The Traitors and stated that people have been sending her death and rape threats.
Uorfi spoke about the troll and hate comments after winning the show and addressed the buzz about being an undeserving winner. She has also mentioned that she doesn't pay attention to these messages much.

Uorfi took to social media and shared a series of pictures from her day-to-day life. The actress mentioned that she is curing and healing herself after the ongoing controversies. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, "Curing sadness , step by step."

In a chat with TellyChakkar, Uorfi said, "Isn't it all the time? I feel it is after every show that there is a 50-50 response from the fans. You can't expect everyone to like you and in my case, Mujhe gaali khaane ki bachpan se aadat hai... Adding to the fact that people feel that I'm an undeserving winner, I'd like to add that this show was not like Bigg Boss, wherein winners can be judged on the basis of their contribution to the show. This show's concept was different. It was more about using your brains at the right time. "
