MUMBAI: Renowned for her poise and charisma, Vahbiz Dorabjee has left an indelible mark with her diverse performances on television. From her debut in 'Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani' to her memorable role as Maggie in 'Bahu Humari Rajnikant,' she has consistently mesmerized audiences. Recently, she returned from a remarkable trip to Kashmir, where she immersed herself in thrilling adventures and visited iconic destinations.
Speaking about the hidden gems of Kashmir, Vahbiz shares, "Gulmarg was truly a hidden gem, a place I had never seen before. It felt like discovering a precious treasure. During my visit, I also had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Khyber hotel, where the iconic song "Tum Kya Mile" from Rocky aur Rani kii Prem Kahaani was filmed. It was an incredible experience to witness everything firsthand."
When questioned about iconic Bollywood movie locations she visited, she reminisced, "I visited the Tulip Garden in Srinagar, where parts of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha's song from "Silsila" were filmed. It was fascinating to see these cinematic connections firsthand. Moreover, while on a Shikara ride in Srinagar, the boatman mentioned that scenes from "Mission Kashmir" were shot there, highlighting how Kashmir has been an inspiration for numerous filmmakers."
Lastly, she shares, "Speaking of adventure and stunning landscapes, Gulmarg offers a plethora of activities to indulge in. From thrilling adventures to serene experiences, there's something for everyone. In Srinagar, on the other hand, you can immerse yourself in shopping at the local markets, filled with authentic Kashmiri goods. Don't forget to buy some saffron (kesar) while you're there; it's renowned for being the most authentic in Kashmir. And of course, a Shikara ride on the serene waters is an absolute must. Every minute spent in Kashmir is indeed breathtaking and mesmerizing."
