Vaquar Shaikh in a key role in Kaali

Vaquar Sheikh, currently seen in Bitto, will now be seen in a new avatar in Star’s new show Kaali. Vaquar essays the role of an investigative officer, the only support to Rachna’s (Swati Kapoor) family. A source says, “Vaquar plays Diwakar Pandey, an investigative officer, a strict and a no-nonsense guy. He is the only character who makes life hell for Thakraal (Ashutosh Rana). He alone supports Rachna’s family and stands by her when no one else is ready to stand by her.” Vaquar confirmed his entry but refused to comment further. Kaali meanwhile is said to be inspired from a true life incident. The story revolves around a girl Rachna who is a badminton player and later becomes a victim of sexual harassment. The show takes off on September 13 at 11 pm.
