Actress Vibhuti Thakur, who was seen in a pivotal role in Zee TV’s Doli Armaanon Ki has bagged a plump role in Star Plus’ historical Chandra Nandni (Balaji Telefilms), which is all set to take centre-stage!!
With Rajat Tokas and Shweta Basu Prasad all set to exhibit their magic onscreen, the countdown to the launch has indeed begun.
Vibhuti will be seen playing the foster mother of Chandragupta, is what we hear!!
As per sources, “Vibhuti will play the role of a normal lady, whose household would run with the help of the cows they have. Chadragupta’s mother, Moora (Papiya Sengupta) would hide young Chandra in the jungle, when Kanika, essayed by Vibhuti will see the kid. She will take him with her and will raise him up.”
Vibhuti’s last association with Balaji Telefilms was in the show Bandini. After five years, the actress will be seen in this strong cameo role.
Her character, Kanika would not be able to conceive; so she would see a son in Chandra, is what we hear.
