MUMBAI: Actress Vidisha Srivastava, who plays Anita Bhabhi in Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli's show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, shared her excitement and gratitude as the show reached an impressive milestone of 2500 episodes. Reflecting on her journey with the show, Vidisha expressed how proud she feels to be a part of such a long-running series that continues to captivate the audience even after so many years.
Vidisha said, “It’s an amazing feeling. Of course, I feel great and honored to be part of this show. The way the show is shaping up, even after so many years, it’s a milestone, a landmark. I wish this show continues for many more years because the audience loves it, and we are giving our 100% to it.” When asked how much of her personality she brings to her character Anita, Vidisha shared, “I think I bring a lot of myself into Anita and Vidisha. There are many similarities between the two. Anita is a character, but we share traits like being groomed, strong-headed, and determined. However, there’s a difference too — Anita is straightforward and strong-willed, but she’s also a bit greedy, which adds an interesting layer to the character. These qualities make the show more entertaining.”
Vidisha also praised the creative vision behind the show, acknowledging the work of producers Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli. “Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli are pioneers. They’ve created something unique with this show that’s amazing. The comedy is subtle and real. It’s their vision that has kept the show going for so many years.
