Vikas-Amita get dirty on Nach Baliye3

Unimpressed with Vikas and Amita Sethi's performance in the first show, judge Vaibhavi Merchant remarked, "I didn't feel that you'll were like two bodies and one soul". The duo seemed to have taken this to heart. So, they appeared in the next episode as earthen statues with their bodies completely covered with mud. Says Amita, "The theme for this episode is fusion. Wherein, one has to perform an Indian dance to a Bollywood track with western music. We picked the Latin based song Sholon si Sholon Si, from Shabd. It was my idea to appear as earthen statues that come to life at dawn and dance." Turning up as earthen statues required them to apply lots of mud packs. "Initially, we kept thinking as to which statues we should play. We thought of marble and metal but we finally stuck on to bronze as applying mud packs, sandalwood, multani mitti will prove good for the skin. We were dressed like this from 9.00 am to midnight" adds Amita. Vikas Sethi had this to say, "I've been in this industry for five years but never before have I done such a thing. It was indeed a wonderful experience. The best part of it is that the judges really liked our performance." Apparently, so overawed was Amita by everyone's reaction that she couldn't hide her tears. At this moment Ishaa Koppikar commented "Pushpa, I hate tears." This good performance has indeed served as a breather to Amita, who's been struggling to match steps with Vikas. In fact, she broke her toe after her hubby accidentally stamped on it. Is Vikas one of those who always like to stamp his authority? Amita replies "Not at all. He's stamped on my feet numerous times but he's takes good care of me. My husband deserves all the credit for our good performance." Getting dirty yielded them instant success on Nach Baliye 3. We just hope they enjoy the same success on bed.
