Vikas Manektala aka Hooda from Left Right Left is back in action but hold your breath not on television or films. But this time for a change with a music video with none other then for singer Kailash Kher. The song Aao Ji is currently being played on all leading music channels.
How did the video offer come to him? Vikas says, "The music company Sony called me for this and discussed the concept with me. I liked it and since it would be different from what I had done so far I accepted it. I am happy that I did it because I am getting very positive feedback from my fans and friends."
The video was shot in Pushkar, Rajasthan. "One can see me in a completely new avatar since I have portrayed a local Rajasthani boy in the video. I have a rugged look and had to grow beard and long hair. We were there for five days and shot for long hours to make this video. I am very happy to be a part of my favourite singer Kailash Kher's music video," explains Vikas.
Not one to stop at this, Vikas is also preparing for his first ever musical play titled Dating Truths. "It has a very unusual concept and a girl called Priya is directing the play. My character is called Mr Right and the story revolves around a girl who will come across a lot of bad people until she meets her Mr. Right that’s me." Shekhar Suman is giving the voice over and is the sutradhar for the play. "Right now we are rehearsing for this and finalising the date of the opening of the play. I am very nervous as this will be my debut play," says Vikas.
