Vinay’s date with Mallishka

The very talented and versatile Vinay Pathak enthralled viewers of Bindass Live, a chat show hosted by RJ Mallishka. The show that aired yesterday (19/11/08) revolved around the topic ‘All men mamma’s boys .’ Describing his experience on the show, Vinay said, “It was a great experience being a part of the show. The atmosphere was so unpretentious and cool and we were discussing all the matters in a lighter vein. We didn’t even realise when the two segments came to an end. Mallishka’s presence in the show makes it so colourful and bright.” Vinay continued, “Every man when born is attracted to his mother for whatever reason one cites. Be it for the food or comfort and the feeling stays on your sub-conscious mind forever. And why single out men infact even the fairer sex is close to their moms.” Vinay’s talent was noticed during his stint as an anchor on the late night satirical show The Comedy Show Ha Ha Ha which was followed by Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun . So when asked if he has any plans of getting back on TV, the actor said, “The show was unique and fresh which attracted me to do the show. For me script matters more than the faces involved in the project and the rule applies to Bollywood as well. But when you see the same format being repeated all the time the enthusiasm sees a downslide. So if something unique comes my way I would surely love to do TV.” Talking about his upcoming projects, Vinay said, “On the 5th of December my film Oh! My God is releasing. This movie will be followed by Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Mehmanji which is a hard-hitting true incident based film. I am also doing Straight with Gul Panag. For the first time I am going to play a negative character in my forthcoming film Mumbai Chakachak . I am totally excited about my role in Chakachak. So at present my kitty is full.”
