Having been seen in various films and television shows in different characters, Vishwajeet Pradhan, who was last seen in Maryada on Star Plus, is a man of many colours. He is versatile, talented and of course, a thorough professional. Media has reported about him playing an important role in an upcoming movie, Saturday Night. But many are not aware of the fact that he will be seen in a different avatar altogether…quite away from his serious image usually seen on the screen. Yes, he will be seen as a gay journalist. Relates Vishwajeet, “Well… I shot for a party song yesterday. I am playing a gay journalist named Rakesh Jha in the film. It’s a very different role and I am enjoying rolling for it. Frankly speaking, as an actor I don’t want to be typecast. This film has lots and lots to offer. It has a very different theme and is extremely realistic in nature.” Differentiating between TV and films, the actor says, “I love both films and television. While television is very long lasting, movies are short-lived. Maryada lasted for three years. I am open to all kinds of role. I am really looking forward to this movie.” We wish Vishwajeet all the very best for his upcoming flick!!!
