Vishwajeet Pradhan: Mr Bad Luck?

Vishwajeet Pradhan, known for his portrayal of Brahmanand in Star Plus’ Maryada, has always been surrounded by trouble. Before you start jumping to conclusions, read further. When he was shooting for a comic scene for his film, No Problem, a fire scene went haywire and Vishwajeet suffered severe burns on his legs. Furthermore, while shooting for the climax sequence for Ram Gopal Verma’s Rakt Charitra, Vishwajeet met with another accident. In the scene, his character was to be shot dead and sadly things went wrong again and he got a huge cut on his chin. Thanks to plastic surgery the cut did get concealed, but the scar still remains on his face. And now, this bad luck seems to have shifted to his abode. The latest news is that the roof of his living room came down. Incidentally, the actor’s two bedroom house is currently under renovation. It so happened that while the wiring for the home theatre system was being set, the plaster ceiling of his living room collapsed. “Yes, the plaster of the roof fell down. Luckily, we were informed that plaster ceiling wasn’t very strong before the renovation process started. So we were cautious and no one was injured,” says Vishwajeet. But is there a connection between all these mishaps? “Not really, but I believe God has been very kind. Things could have surely gone worse,” he beams.
