VVS Laxman reminisces his moment with THIS great LEADER; check out his unmissable throwback photo

Check VVS Laxman’s monochrome throwback photo with one of the greatest leaders.

MUMBAI: The journey of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, the first black president of South Africa, has moved and inspired millions of people. He is regarded as one of the greatest leaders and politicians. And now, VVS Laxman has shared a throwback picture with the legend.  

The former Indian cricketer took to his social media handle and shared a picture wherein Nelson Mandela and he can be seen shaking hands.  

Apart from a young VVS Laxman, the classic monochrome picture also sees young Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar. They were all smiles when this moment got captured in the camera.

Sharing the picture, the cricket commentator wrote, “Found this fond memory of meeting the great man in Cape Town in 1996.” 

He added, “#NelsonMandela was and continues to remain an inspiration for the grace with which he lived his life despite enormous hardships, 27 years in prison and going through unspeakable levels of cruelty. Teaches us to remain joyful irrespective of the difficulties we go through.”

A social media user called it a million dollar picture. “Million dollar pic vvs beautiful memories,” read the comment.
