MUMBAI: Anju Jadhav is seen in long-running show Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey on Sony SAB.
The pretty actress is playing the role of Kiara Tejwani in the hit show which is successfully running on small screens for 3 years now.
The show stars Sumeet Raghavan, Anjan Srivastava, Pariva Pranati, Bharti Achrekar in pivotal roles.
Anju's character has received a lot of love and support over the time and she has become a household name for playing Kiara.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Anju who spoke about her journey in the show till now, her bond with the cast and much more.
How has Kiara's character and Wagle has changed your life as an actor?
As an actor, I have faced many challenges for Kiara's character. She represents an independent girl. She runs the office all by her own. The way her character is extremely modern. She is a boss lady. I can relate to her for one thing which is discipline, which Kiara and Anju both have. I have imbibed many things in me while playing this character for several years. I have learnt how to be practical from my character. I wasn't that strong before I started playing this character but now I am. When I step out in public and people recognize me, they refer to me as Kiara ma'am and not Kiara. I find this so lovely. I just want our show to keep going for years and years.
Since you're playing Rajesh Wagle aka Sumeet Raghavan's boss, you have more scenes with him. How is the experience working with him and also the other star cast?
Our entire star cast are such good people. They have zero attitude. They all have worked so much and are so senior but still don't have any arrogance. They are very humble. They make you feel so comfortable that you will never feel nervous. They also help you with the lines.
I have more scenes with Sumeet sir. So, whenever he enters the set, the entire vibe is changed. He is so fun loving. His aura is such. Whenever he comes, he will greet you so nicely. Then we rehearse our dialogues. Our team work is done so nicely that our scenes get even more enhanced.
Would you like to see any change in Kiara's character?
The makers have shown about Kiara's personal life and how she is. Everyone knows how she is as a boss. The viewers wanted to know what is Kiara's personal life story. They showed about Kiara's family background. The viewers and fans always ask me about this. They wish to see Kiara and Nick's love story. They want to see more of it. Things are being discussed about this.
