“Was not easy shooting with a 50kg lehenga and separately having jewellery weighing heavy on your body.” says Ram Pyaare Sirf Humare’s Shamin Mannin

MUMBAI: Zee TV’s recently launched fiction show, Ram Pyaare Sirf Humare has already become an audience favourite, courtesy its impeccable comic timing and relatable portrayal of its fictional characters like Koel(Shamin Mannan), Dulari(Jyoti Sharma) and Ram(Nikhil Khurana). Having kept the audience hooked with various fresh and intriguing twists and turns, the show recently got its viewers to witness Ram and Koel’s wedding drama that was stopped just in the nick of time by none other than Dulari. While Dulari might have temporarily got Ram’s eyes off Koel, Shamin Mannan’s extravagant and stunning bridal avatar couldn’t help but leave us awed and the young actress’s beauty.

Donning a rather extravagant red and golden combination lehenga, Shamin Mannan looked flawless and was quite ecstatic about once again dressing up as a bride. Stepping out from Koel’s regular avatar, Shamin left everyone on set amazed with her new gorgeous look and was in fact, showered with numerous compliments from not just the team but her fans as well. While dressing up as a bride might have not been a new experience to Shamin, what definitely was new to her, was shooting for 12 hours over a period of 2 days in a 50 kg heavy lehenga supported with  elaborate jewellery to match her look. Despite the challenge, Shamin made sure she shot every scene with absolute perfection without letting the gruesome effort show across her face.

Sharing her experience, Shamin Mannan who plays the role of Koel in Zee TV’s Ram Pyaare Sirf Humare revealed, “As an actress, the opportunity to dress up as a bride comes frequently and no matter how many times it does, the excitement to step into that avatar is always the same. While different scripts demand different looks thus letting us experience with multiple avatars on the show, the beauty of a bridal outfit is incomparable. Of course, the process is equally hard and with this sequence in Ram Pyaare Sirf Humare, it was surely not easy shooting with a 50kg lehenga pulling you down and separately having jewellery weighing heavy on your body. I needed regular intervals to sit down and remove the jewellery once in a while to manage the weight of the overall look. However, the experience was delightful, and I would happily do it once again for the love for camera, fans and my job.”

While Ram and Shamin’s wedding drama has left the audience surprised, a new Nuskha twist is going to leave everyone at the edge of their seats. In the upcoming episode viewers will get to witness how a girl will enter Ram and Dulari’s life and address them as her parents.

To know what happens next, tune in to Ram Pyaare Sirf Humare every Monday to Saturday at 10:30 pm, only on Zee TV!
