We have to work in this situation to keep ourselves sane and motivated: Chandni Sharma

Chandni Sharma is making her acting debut with Mamta and Yash Patnaik’s “Ishq Mein Marjawan 2”. Referring to the current COVID-19 situation in the country, the debutante says it’s important to work during this time to maintain our sanity and also to keep ourselves motivated.

The young actress is seen as Ishani in “Ishq Mein Marjawan 2”, which also features Helly Shah, Vishal Vashishtha, and Rrhaul Sudhir, and also said that she is lucky to be a part of the show.

She said, “I think to keep ourselves sane and motivated we have to work in this situation, of course while taking all the precautionary measures, as health comes first. But, to avoid stagnancy, boredom and for financial stability, the show must go on.”

“I feel extremely lucky and thankful to have a show with a good role in this difficult time. I want to make most out of it and work hard for it,” she added.

Talking about the precautionary measures on the sets, she appreciated Beyond Dreams Entertainment for taking good care of the cast and crew on the set, and added, “We follow all the guidelines. The set, makeup rooms and everything is sanitized every day. Our temperature and oxygen level is checked every day in the morning. Social distancing is practiced as much as possible.”

Chandni hails from Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh, and pursued engineering from Chandigarh. She is a successful model and dreamt of becoming an actress since childhood. Asked about the kind of response she is getting for her role, she said, “I am overwhelmed and thrilled to see the response I'm getting for playing Ishani. My DMs and mail is flooded with messages of people telling me how much they are loving the character.”
