We will soon have a reunion party: Krishna Mukherjee on Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein going off-air

Well, Tellychakkar.com got in touch with actress Krishna Mukherjee who was the lead actress of the show and exclusively asked her about her journey and experience shooting with the actors.

MUMBAI: Naagin, from the time it started, went on to become a massive hit!

The Balaji Telefilms show soon rolled out multiple seasons and throughout the three seasons, the show was a massive hit. In the fourth season of Naagin, the TRP’s dipped down and was later pulled off-air due to the pandemic. Producer Ekta Kapoor soon rolled out the fifth season of Naagin starring Surbhi Chandna, Mohit Sehgal and Sharad Malhotra in the lead roles. The season recently culminated and a spin-off of the same, Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein was launched.

Starring Harsh Rajput and Krishna Mukherjee in the lead roles, the show narrates the tale of Rehan, a local heart-throb, hiding his dark powers beneath a cool demeanour. A chance encounter with Priya turns his life upside down, leading to conflict and passion.

Well, according to the media reports, the ratings of the show were low and hence the show is going off-air on March 21. Well, Tellychakkar.com got in touch with actress Krishna Mukherjee who was the lead actress of the show and exclusively asked her about her journey and experience shooting with the actors.

Krishna said, “Everybody was very sweet, helpful and Milini mam treated us like her own kids. We have culminated our shoot and we were sad, but we plan to stay in touch. Right now I am travelling but we plan to catch up and have a reunion. We used to have a lot of fun on the sets.”  

Naagin traces the lives of shape-shifting serpents and the first season starred Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani and Adaa Khan. It was one of the highest-rated shows on Indian television. The fourth season was introduced with a new title Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel. It starred Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria, Jasmin Bhasin and Rashami Desai. The show went off due to the pandemic wherein a lot of shows were shut and soon, as producer Ekta Kapoor promised, it was brought back in a bigger and better way with a spin off starring Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal as Bani, Veer and Jay.
