MUMBAI: Akansha Sareen has been seen in TV shows in the likes of Yeh Teri Galiyan and Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji.
Currently, she is a part of Star Plus show Shaadi Mubarak. Playing the character of Rati Jindal, paired opposite Gaurav Sharma. Akansha and Gaurav are shown as Preeti's son and daughter-in-law. Well, the pandemic has led to a lot of shows coming to a halt and Shaadi Mubarak starring Manav Gohil and Rati Pandey is one of them.
Akansha had taken to social media to share a picture with Shweta Kawatra and mentioned how she learnt how to enact her character as a vamp with a smile on from her.
Tellychakkar.com exclusively got in touch with Akansha to know more about the same. She said, “This is before I started doing Shaadi Mubarak. That's when we had those readings and I would do my rehearsals and say my lines. That’s when I was told that I need to be sweet and negative at the same time. So I watched some of Shweta Kawatra’s videos and learnt how to bring out that shade to my on-screen personality.”
Speaking of the shooting coming to a halt, the actress averred, “Well, I would like to say that this is a very difficult time and it is also a very fertile time to work on ourselves and workout, take care of our health and skin.”
When asked about the speculation of Shaadi Mubarak biting the dust, Akansha said, “Well, it is as good as a rumour as nothing is official yet."
