MUMBAI: F.I.R. actress Kavita Kaushik had entered Bigg Boss 14 as a 'Wild Card' contestant. While she was eliminated after a few days, she was later brought back inside the BB house once again.
While at first, it seemed that she and Abhinav Shukla were on good terms, things changed drastically later.
Kavita’s husband Ronnit Biswas had made a tweet alleging Abhinav Shukla of texting Kavita in a drunk state years ago. While the tweet was later deleted, Kavita and Ronnit were called on the show to clarify these allegations and confront Abhinav and Rubina on the same. Abhinav had denied these allegations.
Now, in an interview with radio host Siddharth Kannan, Rubina Dilaik said that she hasn’t discussed Kavita Kaushik’s allegations with Abhinav Shukla. She said that she trusts Abhinav fully and that if there was any truth to the allegations that Kavita had made, it would have become a huge deal. “Why discuss things where you have faith and you know that it is all a facade, nothing else? Isme koi sachchai hoti, toh apne aap mein ek roop le leta.”, said Rubina.

She further added, “Jo cheez wahi pe dhasth ho gayi, uska matlab uska koi wajood hi nahi tha. Jiska wajood hi nahi tha, usko discuss karke, khuredke kya faayda? (If it got buried then and there, it means it never happened. What is the point of discussing and raking up something that never happened?).”.
In his tweet, Ronnit had claimed that Abhinav had a ‘serious alcohol problem’ and that he would message Kavita late in the night wanting to talk and meet at odd hours.
However, Kavita had alleged on Bigg Boss 14 that the messages sent by Abhinav were not obscene but of ‘violent nature’. Abhinav had denied these claims by further stating that he would deal with this matter legally.
Salman Khan, however, advised them to clarify it and let bygones be bygones.
