WOW: Producer Sanjay Kohli and lead actor of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai actor iconic singer Aasif Sheikh reveals how Asha Bhosle and evergreen superstar Dharmendra are HUGE FANS of the show!

MUMBAI: Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, a popular comedy show on &TV, is one of the most popular sitcoms on television.

For the past seven years, the show has been running on small screens with great popularity. Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain has its own fan following, which adds to its popularity among viewers. We've seen how the creators have skillfully crafted each and every character, each of whom is distinct in their own right. All of the characters, from Angoori Bhabhi to Vibhuti, have become highly popular among fans.

During the chat, producer of the show, Sanjay Kohli shared that once he was playing in Khar Gym when he got a call from an unknown number and it turned out to be a call from legendary singer Asha Bhosale.

He narrated the entire story, he shared, "Once I was playing at the Khar gym when I got a call from an unknown number and the lady on the call told me she was Asha. I asked Asha, who? She told me I am Asha Bhosale, I hung up the call as I thought someone was playing a prank on me. She called me again and I again disconnected but when I checked the number on True Caller it showed me Asha Bhosale. I called her up finally and apologised. Asha ji told me that she and Lata didi were huge fans of our show. She shared how Lata didi and she didn't sleep till they watched our show. She also praised Tiku and Malkan's singing style which they always do after their entry. She had also invited us for dinner at their home. Pandit Jasraj Ji’s last birthday wish was to meet the team of Bhabi Ji on his birthday and we all had gone.

Aasif Sheikh added that not just the legendary singers but also superstar and iconic actor Dharmendra loves watching their show. He said, "Just 5/6 days ago I learnt that my friend is shooting a documentary on living legends and he met Dharmendra ji for the same. So during the conversation Dharam ji stated that he loves watching our show and he doesn’t sleep without watching our episodes. He also said that when he starts watching it, he continues till at least two hours. My friend recently met and narrated the entire thing to me and I was so inspired and happy."
