As per our highly placed sources, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Simran Khanna will soon be joining the show. We contacted Simran and she confirmed the buzz with TellyChakkar. She said, "Yes, I am doing Jhanak. I will be playing the character of Rumi in the show."

Before leap, actors HIba Nawab, Krushal Ahuja and Chandni Sharma played the lead roles in the show and they were quite loved by the audiences. The news of leap came as a shocker for the fans as they found it difficult to move on from their favorite onscreen characters.

Talking about Simran, she has proved her acting prowess in many shows like Ajooni, Udaariyaan, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Wagle Ki Duniya among others.
