Now, Rohit is back in Ruhi's life. Actor Romit Raaj has been cast in the role, replacing Shivam Khajuria, who played the character in the past. Khajuria recently discussed his reaction to the latest situation in an interview with a popular news portal.
Shivam Khajuria stated in an interview that the production house had informed him of the development and that he was aware of the replacement. He promised to return shortly with a new project.
Shivam said, "Rajan Sir has planned something good for me. I am going to miss my character, Rohit. I just wish people would give the same amount of love to the new actor as they did to me. I will soon give you all good news."
There was a lot of excitement a while back around Rajan Shahi's comeback with a brand-new romantic drama for Star Plus, produced by Directors' Kut Productions. This particular love tale was meant to center on two newbies.
Shivam Khajuria had also tried out for the role of the main hero, and based on his comments, it seems like he may be making a comeback to television with Shahi's upcoming production.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's current track is about Armaan and Abhira finally confessing their love to each other. However, the family members will be shown blaming each other for Kaveri's heart attack.
