MUMBAI: The episode sees Kairav falling unconscious during the Sawan Milni celebrations. He is diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder. The doctors wish to know details about Naira or Kairav's father's medical history to ascertain the effects of the illness on the child. Naira reveals that she suffered from the disorder years back and had undergone surgery to treat it. To initiate Kairav's treatment, the doctors ask Naira to get her medical reports, and this situation puts her in a dilemma.
Naira, who left Udaipur five years back, calls the hospital where she underwent treatment, to request them to share her medical reports. The receptionist refuses to share soft copies of her reports stating they have an online record only of the last three years. When she insists she wants her medical history, the receptionist hangs up, after saying she must visit the hospital in person to collect it.
Meanwhile, Kartik, who imagines celebrating Sawan Milni with Naira, sees Vedika in trouble after a cluster of decorative lights hanging from the rooftop splits from a rope attached to it. He rushes towards Vedika and saves her from getting injured.
Vedika misinterprets Kartik's gesture and starts dreaming about him, but the truth is that he would have saved anyone, who would have been in the situation. Thus Kartik averts an accident but feels restless wondering what is making him worried. He feels like talking to Kairav but stops himself from doing so for honouring his words. He doesn't want to upset Kairav's mother by trying to keep in touch with her son.
A while later, Dadi calls the Pandit Ji once again to fix Kartik and Vedika's engagement date. The Pandit Ji says that they must get engaged on the next day else, they have to wait longer for an auspicious muhurta. Kartik refuses to react, but Gayatri knows he isn't happy. She tells Swarna to stop the marriage before it gets too late.
