MUMBAI: The episode sees how as Mishti hides at the temple, Mehul arrives there and talks to the old priest. The priest tells him that someone was looking for him. As they talk, Mishti quickly sneaks and hides behind the Goddess’s idol. Mehul suspects that Meenakshi came to look for him here. Mishti sees devotees coming in for the Aarti and realises that she cannot come out from her hiding and would have to wait for two more hours until the Aarti ends. She messages Rajshri that she would be late. Meanwhile, the Rajvansh family arrives at the Maheshwari residence for Kuhu’s Karva Chauth. Varsha sees that Kunal is not with the family so she asks them where he is. Meenakshi tells everyone that he had to attend an important meeting so he’s not here but he’ll try his best to come. Abir assures everyone that Kunal will come later. Later, Rajshri and Vishambhar tell Meenakshi that they have found two auspicious dates for Abir and Mishti’s engagement. One is two days later and the other date falls after two months. Meenakshi promptly asks them to fix the date that’s two days from today for then engagement. Nidhi gets up and tells her that Abir will leave the house after his engagement so they should fix the date that’s two months away. Meenakshi tells everyone that they shouldn’t stall Abir and Mishti’s happiness for their selfish reasons. Later, Abir asks Rajshri where Mishti is. She tells him that she thought she was with him as she mentioned she was going for some work at the NGO. Abir realises that Mishti has lied to Rajshri and he plays along. Abir tries to call her but she doesn’t respond. He checks her location and sees that she’s in Rajgarh. Meanwhile, Mishti asks the priest about Mehul’s family after the Aarti. He tells her that he had a pregnant wife who was very fond of kheer and used to come to the temple religiously every Monday for the prasad. Later, Meenakshi tells Kuhu to break her fast looking at Kunal’s photo since he’s not here. Kunal arrives there and tells them that it won’t be necessary. Kuhu feels happy but Kunal thinks to himself about the reporter Kuhu must’ve hidden to write a defaming article on him. Abir leaves to get Mishti back home. As Mishti leaves the temple her cab breaks down. As she waits outside the temple, Mehul’s car passes by her but both of them don’t notice each other. Later Abir arrives there and begins to ask her why she’s here. They end up fighting as Mishti expresses her suspicion about Mehul to Abir. Abir gets furious and disappointed in Mishti for accusing his father without any proof. He walks away from her and Mishti yells his name to stop him. But she realises that she revealed the truth to him in her imagination. In reality Abir was standing in front of her and asking her why is she here but Mishti was lost in her thoughts. She thinks that if she tells the truth to Abir about Mehul’s suspicious behaviour he would leave her. Before she could say anything, she faints in Abir’s arms. Abir calls the driver and he rushes with some water. He tells him that she hadn’t eaten anything all day. Abir realises that Mishti has kept a fast for him. He takes her to the temple and feeds her some water. After she regains consciousness, he expresses how concerned he was for her. Suddenly, the old priest arrives there and sees Mishti. He asks her if she found the person she came here to look for. Abir looks at the priest feeling perplexed.
