MUMBAI: The audience has been in love with actor Zaan Khan’s performance as Randhir Raizada in Sony TV’s unconventional show, Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye.
In an exclusive conversation with Zaan, he shared, “My experience has been amazing. The show is very nice and it is beautifully written.”
Shedding some light on his character, Zaan said, “The character of Randhir is beautifully written and all credit goes to Shashi ma’am and our writers. When I came to Mumbai, it was my dream to be known as an artist. I wanted people to know me as an actor. I believed the more versatile characters one plays the more opportunities one gets to be a part of better projects. So I have played negative, a lover boy, a Gujarati boy, a superstar and now Randhir Raizada. I love playing different roles and I am glad that people are loving the character. “
We asked him about his bond with the extended cast, Zaan expressed, “I am a very fun loving and outspoken person so I bond very well with almost everyone on the set of the show especially Gracy (Goswami) as we shoot together and people love our chemistry as ‘Amdhir’. We are good friends. “

Produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions, the show narrated the story of Amrit, Vashma and Radha who live in Lahore at a time when India is on the cusp of gaining independence. They hope to achieve their dreams and find success in their love lives.
