Zee TV's Hitler Didi to air its last episode on 2 August?

Zee TV’s Hitler Didi (Trilogy Media Pvt. Ltd) has been under the scanner for quite some time now, and if sources are to be believed, it is surely on the way out now. We hear that as per the recent development, Hitler Didi will shut shop on 2 August 2013, and the slot will be taken up by Film Farm India’s new show Do Dil Se Bandhi Ek Dor, which will be the comeback vehicle for popular actor Arhaan Behll. Our source states that Hitler Didi has always been in news for the show going off air in the past few months. But the main reason for the show to survive was perhaps because there was no new project ready to replace it. The decision has been taken now, and Hitler will air its last episode on 2 August. In an extreme case of the makers of the new show needing bit more time, the launch might get delayed by a maximum of one week. The cast of the new show Do Dil Se Bandhi Ek Dor Se will be introduced in the 6th Boroplus Gold Awards that will air this weekend. When contacted, a source said, “There is no official confirmation about Hitler Didi’s off air date. As per the norm, the channel is supposed to be giving two weeks’ intimation.” We tried getting a confirmation from the channel, but could not get any response. We also texted producer Ila Bedi, but she chose not to revert. Let’s see if Hitler gets a bit more breathing space before it finally draws to a close.
