Here’s news on another show all set to bite the dust. Times have really changed in the world of Indian television and earlier when shows entertained masses for years together, now a soap is taken off air – on not bagging the numbers – within months of its launch. Here’s news on another show all set to bite the dust. Times have really changed in the world of Indian television and earlier when shows entertained masses for years together, now a soap is taken off air – on not bagging the numbers – within months of its launch. One such show to meet the “axe” fate – yeh, we are trying to be a bit cheeky – is Optimystix’s Zindagi Kahe... Smile Please on Life OK. It is all set to draw curtains by end of March or the first week of April (2012). The show is a light-hearted family which talks about the journey of a rich family who learns the value of relationships from the servants. The concept though sounding interesting, failed to impress the masses. Even known names in the world of television, Kiran Karmarkar and Ali Asgar could not do enough to save the fate of the serial. Earlier we did a story where we mentioned that both the actors were pretty unhappy with the show’s lack of promotion. “The show kept on getting low TRPs and finally the producers decided to pull the plug on it,” informed a source. Initially, it was decided that Zindagi… will air for the last time on 31 March 2012, but it might get an extension for a week or so as other new shows that were supposed to come on the channel have got delayed. When contacted Kiran Karmarkar, he confirmed the development and said, “Yes, it’s sad but true. We have already been informed that Zindagi… will soon go off-air but we are yet to get a confirmed date.” Keep logging onto Tellychakkar.com to soak in some spicy updates from the world of television!!!
